
Mission: Zoo-Possible Earns First Place at the 2025 E Source Utility Ad Awards
October 15, 2025 – Mission: Zoo-Possible, a campaign created by the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program, earned first place in the Brand and Sustainability category at E Source's 2025 Utility Ad Awards, part of the annual E Source Forum.
The awards recognize campaigns that are creative, effective, and successful at engaging utility customers.
In 2024, SmartMark was honored to assist the Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency team in conceptualizing, designing, and deploying the Mission: Zoo-Possible campaign with Brookfield Zoo Chicago. The Mission: Zoo-Possible campaign and mobile app (Android/iOS) provided an innovative way to promote energy efficiency to audiences of all ages within an engaging and educational environment. Designed as an interactive zoo scavenger hunt, the campaign encouraged guests to learn practical energy-saving habits while exploring the zoo.
